Raspberries can be cropped all summer and into the autumn. We have a range of varieties of all types.

RASPBERRYALLGOLD

All Gold Autumn fruiting.
This chance seedling discovered amongst a nursery crop of ‘Autumn Bliss’ bears large, yellow fruits with an even more exquisite flavour than its red fruited cousins. The delicious, sweet fruits can be harvested from late August until mid October. These tall primocanes are perfect for smaller gardens where they can be grown in a large container and trained onto an obelisk or ‘wigwam’.

RASPBERRYRED

Autumn Bliss. A superb and very popular late cropping variety producing medium-large, juicy berries from early August up until the first frosts – each plant can produce up to 1lb/450gm of fruit each season! Vigorous, self-supporting canes with a high degree of disease resistance.

Cascade Delight. An early floricane variety originally from USA, cropping from June/July for about four weeks. Cascade Delight’s long fruit-bearing laterals make it an ideal variety for growing at home and harvesting by hand

Glen Ample. Summer Fruiting. An exceptional, high-yielding, mid season variety that produces a heavy crop between late June and late July

Glen Clova is a very popular raspberry variety. The ripe fruits herald the start of the raspberry picking season in many gardens. The tasty fruits are produced in profusion and are great for all sorts of desserts and jams. As with all summer fruiting raspberries, the canes that have fruited should be cut back to ground level as soon as all the fruit has been picked.

Glen Doll. This mid season raspberry has a long cropping period from mid/late July until mid/late August.  The fruit quality is outstanding and is superior to Glen Ample.  The conical berries are bright mid-dark red in colour, very firm in texture, and have a sweet flavour.  The spine free cane are upright, tall & stout.  Excellent disease resistance.  Suitable for freezing.

Glen Lyon. earliest cropping raspberry bushes we grow. Glen Lyon is a model plant – hardy, disease resistant and quite vigorous

Glen Prosen. A widely grown and popular variety to compete with ‘Malling Admiral’. It has spineless canes, some resistance to aphids and virus, and is easy to grow and control. The heavy yield of very firm, round fruit is ready for picking from mid-July.

Heritage. Fruiting from August until well into October, the rich crop of juicy fruits has a delicious flavour. This autumn fruiting variety does not require training or supporting so it can even be grown in a large patio container

Malling Admiral is a late summer raspberry. Ripens from mid July to mid August. Berries are large with good flavour. Canes are vigorous and disease resistant.

Malling Jewel. a raspberry with short, slightly thorny stems and large, red fruit with a good flavour in autumn

Malling Leo. Large, bright orange-red fruits with a firm, good, slightly acid flavour are borne from late July through to late August. The canes are very vigorous.

Octavia. produces the majority of its yield through August, effectively filling the gap between the late Summer season Raspberries and the first of the Autumn fruiters. Although there are of course other later Summer season Raspberries, Octavia easily outperforms Tulameen and Augusta, and is later still than Glen Magna.

Polka. one of the best autumn-fruiting raspberry introductions in recent years! This superb Polish bred primocane variety produces up to double the yield of its parent, Raspberry ‘Autumn Bliss’, and crops at least 2 weeks earlier. Once established, each plant can produce up to 2.5kg of large, deep-red berries with a deliciously sweet flavour that can be harvested from late July through to October

Tulameen. enormously versatile summer fruiting long cane variety in a container! The long canes look stunning trained up an obelisk or ‘wigwam’ in a large pot, making a decorative and productive addition to the patio or decking. This mid/late season selection was bred in Canada

Zeva. autumn variety Zeva produces an abundance of delicious raspberries in their first year. They are very prolific with high yields of fruit from August onwards on newly grown canes from the same year

JOAN J.Produces high yeild of large, bright, juicy raspberries, with a delicious flavour.  Joan J comes out of the freezer tasting as sweet and delicious as the day it was put in so grreat to keep.  ‘primocane’ raspberry, it fruits on newly produced canes – harvest from late July/early August, and keep picking right through to the first frosts in October/November!.
